I screwed up when installing tricklaser's arms and broke two teeth off the center plate. The old epoxy (dated 1999 I just noticed!) I put on held for a few months, and just now gave out. My led ring and my cooling fan decided to join the fail party as well. Naturally, everything was fine for two hours until I went to bed! I didn't get a big old glob of plastic on the head thankfully.

Can anyone recommend an epoxy/glue to hold my arm on? This is in a heated chamber (the heated bed is the only heat right now).

I had a failed print start a filament "snowball" that ended up pulling the wires out of my fans. Glad you escaped relatively unscathed.

I'd think you could get the clamping action going with a couple bolt/washers/nut assemblies stuck between the axle and the back of the assembly where you broke the fingers.
Another idea, wire or zip-ties to a cross support (bit of pencil, maybe).

In any case, first thing I'd print is a new effector plate.

Silly question, but you know you can buy a new one, right?

LOL! :D

I would think he didn't; that is a lot of work and even more in cleanup for $10!

Thank you for the reminder and link, as it is invaluable to have replacement parts at your disposal.

Was that just added or am I blind? Probably the second one :). I'll grab that if the epoxy fails again. Thanks!
