I wonder if just as the introduction of the first affordable large screen TV sets has created the market for whole Home Theater rooms that we see in many new build construction houses these days if ten years from now we will see “Maker” rooms starting to put in an appearance in new homes…

Most of the folks I know who have home machine tools are required by SWMBO to have them in their man caves or in the basement or garage work shop.

but the need to keep the dust down in the area of a 3d printer ( and the smell etc of resin based laser printers) means that at some point in the development of home 3d printing a dedicated room of their own may be in the cards for family homes.

(Since I live on my own the problem is not something I need to be concerned with until I chose to play with one those small Laser fused resin printers they sure stink)

as for the MaxV2 I don’t notice a smell problem using the SeeMeCNC sourced ABS filament.
