Hello A NOOB from MIchigan.

Hello SeeMeCNC threads of the Interwebs.
Well I am new here and I am currently waiting for my Rostock Max V2 to arrive. Should be the 11th?
This will be my first foray into owning a 3d printer although I have been investigating them for several years now.
I have been wanting a 3d printer for about that long also LOL. Well after much deliberating and reading and pondering
I finally decided on the SeeMeCNC Rostock Max V2 due mostly in part to the price and then Make Magazine review of it.
After that I started thumbing through the forum here and learning all I could about it. That eventually led to the decision of purchasing one.
SO like every other NOOB out there expect to see me asking for help from all the experts on the forum.
Well after reading through the forum and watching videos on you tube I decided to do some upgrades to the printer while I am doing my initial build.
I plan to install the stepper motor dampers to quit it down for those long hour prints.

Well this next upgrade depends on what comes in the box being I have read that some people have received different versions of power supplies in their kits?
So if its the atx 450 with the rats nest of wires (I admit I am a wire net freak.) then I will replace it with a better bigger power supply. I know 24v is a better way to go for just heating the build plate but honestly its a little out of my experience range. (I follow directions awesome and I haven't seen any that explains how to install a 24v PS step by step?) so I will use this PS. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ALK ... _i=desktop
As for the hot end ?? Well for the time being I will stick with the stock version but I will be doing a threaded thermistor mod to it with a 40w cartridge.

Eventually I hope to go to the E3Dv6 but for now I will try this rout.
I also ordered several spare blower motors. I will be installing 3 Layer blower fans instead of the stock single one. Seems to help with better prints?
I also ordered several Nozzles (.5 and .35) just ot have extras and a smaller one to experiment with. I don't know if I would need an extra but I did get an extra hobbed drive roller. Am I correct in thinking that its the part that helps feed the filament? Then I got PLA and ABS Filament.
I don't See a problem with the build I am quit confident in that aspect. It's the calibration and settings that I am not feeling 100% confident on. But I will take my time and learn all I can and follow the directions carefully so we will see.
thanks for reading my propaganda.
