So upon the completion of a friends part for senior design i twisted it off the plate just like a hundred prints before it and it brought up patches of the boro build plate. I know I'll be getting a new one now but seriously how did this happen? Printing with PET if that helps.

Whatever you are doing to promote bed adhesion promoted it a little hard. I've had the same issue with ABS juice too thick. Flip the plate, it'll print fine until the new one turns up.
