Hello all,
I got my first 3d printer just a few months ago. Got one from Kickstarter....and I do not really recommend that route. It's been just one problem after another. I think it was assembled by monkeys....our at least someone who does not know anything about proper use of a screwdriver. But every problem I had involved a lot of research and learning to fix, so in a way it's been good because a working printer would not have taught me nearly as much.
But almost every time I was in research mode search results brought me to this forum and do I got intrigued by this community that seemed to be more helpful and have more answers than any of the others that Google took me to. So I started learning about what this is about and am now wanting to build a restock....our something similar, I'm thinking about starting with trick lasers max metal frame and building into that from the get go instead of starting with the kit.
So far on my current printer I've made mostly toys for son and a delta throttle for playing star citizen....and if any of you ate into flying digital space ships I strongly recommend building the delta throttle, I built of the online plans originally but am in the middle of redesigning it now.
