Object Printing Unevenly?

Hi everyone,

I'm working on printing some parts that have an 11mm curved boss traveling along the back side . The boss is designed to fit down into a channel. The parts are about 9.5mm thick in total, and are supposed to be 9mm thick on either side of the boss. What I'm finding is that when I measure the part for total thickness it comes out fine, but when I measure one side of the part there is about a .1-.15 mm difference from the other side. It's causing the parts to not sit correctly in the channel. Has anyone had experience with a surface printing unevenly before? I'm using carbon fiber infused PLA with nozzle temp 220 and bed temp 80.

So which direction is the dimensional discrepancy in? I can't tell from the picture what dimension seems funny. It could be a number of things, but repositioning the object for a test print, and using a different slicer flavor would be the 2 most telling things that I would try.

If you're seeing things that are only .1mm off, that's less than the extrusion width and the layer height, and in range of what I'd call an acceptable deviation. The shape of the part could cause the plastic to contract and warp as it cools more than that amount.
