Filament stuck between bowden tube and hotend

When printing with PLA, from what I can tell I am getting heat creep. The filament just starts "sputtering out in an inconsistent flow. It seems to help when I increase extrusion, but doesn't solve the problem. I have to drop the temperature in the room just to keep it printing. But I start to get bed adhesion issues. So my question is, any recommendations on how to combat this? I am building a chamber for ABS, but I'm pretty sure this is only going to exacerbate the problem. I had an E3d v6 I was going to put on to try out some more exotic filaments. I went ahead and swapped it out, but the problem wasn't fixed. Here's a pic of what the filament looks like when I pull it out after it gets stuck.
And this is what it looks like when I can get it to finish a print. Pretty happy with the results. Can't even hardly see the layers.

Ummmm, What temperature is your hotend set at? What speed are you printing at? What do you have your retraction set at?

Heh information would be good I guess.
1mm retraction
175 hotend
40mm infill
30 mm perimeter.

Probably not heat creep unless your PEEK fan isn't running. The lowest temperature SeeMe recommends for their PLA is 190. Is there a reason you're running it so cold?

I have run it all the way up to 210 with the same problem. I read on a forum a little bit back an employee of seemecnc had been running it with those settings without an issue. It's how I got near perfect prints. The hotter I run it, the harder it seems to be to get it to print. I even tried hacker geeks with the same problem. I ran it both at 210 and 220. And the PEEK fan was running on both hotends just fine. Last night I broke my thermistor some how. Moved a wire poof hot end is 1000 degrees. Checked with a multimeter and it doesn't register any resistance across the thermistor. So I have some more of those coming in. Should be here tomorrow. So I can't test till then.
