You look like you're ready to go :)

Camera is the secret to having pictures that are in focus, you nearly got it right...

Spend lots of time getting the settings done, it will make a BIG difference in the finished product. You will be happy with the Rostock....

I was going to use my Nikon D3200 but the files will be too big to post here or on Imgur. Going to have to use an older camera I guess... :(

You can always turn your file size down on the camera,,,,

Buy a fancy camera but can't figure out how to re-size a picture? So many possibilities. Even MS Paint will do it. Imgur will also do it, there is an automatic setting for it even, set the setting, drag and drop images in.

Hey Gundy1024, that work area looks to be huge!
Congrats for having that much space to work with.
I am really looking forward to the pictures you will send as you progress in your build.

Eaglezsoar, that space you see there is where my truck should be, but I wanted the space for the build so the truck will have to live outdoors for a while. :)

Ok, day one has come to a close. I have inventoried, and removed all my wood parts. I have noticed that my glass plate has a bubble in it, should I request a new one?

Other than that I have the power supply wired up and the hot end glued up and drying along with my first painted parts. Pictures are linked below. Still with the crappy camera for now till I have time to work on getting the better ones loaded. IMGUR would not that the larger files... :(

Smallest file size for the D3200 is 6mb.

If you set it at jpeg basic small, you can get it down to 1 mb.

As for painting, do you all have any tips. I am using spray paint and it is taking several coats to get the ends to cover. I have even lightly sanded the ends and it is still not taking the paint well.

You need to use a primer/sealer. Kilz works really well.

Ok, the end of day two brought a little progress. Most my time so far is being spent painting. Only have two more days of build time then I am off on a short vacation.

Ok, so for day of build time this week I managed to get the base out together, solder up the heated and get it installed. Also got wires run and installed the towers. That will be all till this time next week.

Ok, so I have my printer built. I will up load pictures later but for now I have a problem. Extruder motor is not turning. I have checked my wires and I have connectivity but I am not sure I have the plug pinned right. I did it by the instructions but the way it is explained in there would not put that motor pinning as the same as the others. Shouldn't red be on the far right?

Nevermind! I am a dummy and had the connector plugged into the E1 spot instead of the E0....
