Hello community! I recently posted my build in the showcase forum, so I figured I should also introduce myself! My name is Kevin, I'm from LA, and I'm a recovering... wait a second, wrong group.
So recently I got into the whole cheap computer thing (about a year ago) and I purchased a BeagleBone Black to instrument my telescope (electronic star-chart). After that project ended I purchased another BeagleBone Black and I planned on making a robot. Well after buying the BBB, some stepper motors, and motor drivers - I realized - I had no structure to construct a robot with! I tried to use Legos, but that would have been a huge pain. Then it dawned on me... why not use these items that I have and build a 3D printer...this way I can print the parts I want! Well... a few months later, the BraggBot was born!
So I'm new here, but I hope to help build this community by minimally spreading the word and offering advice when able. I'm an engineer... so I can definitely nerd out with anyone interested!
Well... time to continue printing before I doze off! Hello again!
