I'm close to pulling the trigger on ordering an H1.1 hardware kit.
I was wondering if anyone has compiled a list of recommended spare parts I might want to order at the same time.
I've seen teflon tube mentioned a lot. Are there other hot-end parts prone to melting?
Fess up, 'yall. Which parts have you burned out, broken, or just plain wished you had an extra one of?
Is there a list of recommended spare parts?

Re: Is there a list of recommended spare parts?
I destroyed my teflon tube while learning how to deal with PLA... ultimately I installed a cold end fan and no longer ruin my teflon tubes. I ordered a small roll of the teflon tube at a better price from eBay since it can also be used to make a bowden extruder for faster printing.
for PLA printing you just need a small fan for the cold end (40mm works great), blue tape, and a flat surface to print on (I use glass mirrors and picture frame glass from the dollar store).
for ABS you'll want a heat bed and either kapton tape or some car window tint.
Pyrex or tempered glass is safer to use on a heated bed but I've yet to break any cheap dollar store glass while printing ABS at 120c so I never bother using my tempered glass for printing.
If you go with RAMPS (which I recommend) you will be set for temperature control, with the velleman controller you'll really want a cheap IR thermometer from ebay.
