Hello Everyone,
I've never had a 3d but have wanted to get one for years and finally took my first step. I received my new Rostock Max V2 kit last week and have started to work on it.
With any luck think should be done by this weekend at which point i'll have to dive into the software assuming I don't make any mistakes (figers crossed). I know my wife would love it to be removed from the dinning room table.
I have had a few questions issue but seemecnc has been fast to respond and help so I have be very happy with them.
Next I guess will be the software. Wish me luck!!
Now to figure out the first upgrade....Nothing is ever good enough.

Welcome to the forum!
Thanks for purchasing the words best 3DPrinter, the Rostock Max.
Now the build is nearing completion you certainly are ready for software and the calibration.
I like the way you think, nothing is ever good enough. There is always some new piece of hardware or sortware
that I just got to have.
Enjoy your new printer and see how she runs before adding a bunch of accessories.
Happy Printing!

Welcome to the community. This is a great forum, I have only been here for a few months and everyone has been super helpful.
My mantra is "Make it work, then make it better." So the question isn't what you want to upgrade first, the question is what do you want to print first. The upgrades will present themselves as you start printing.
For me I live in the Pacific Northwest so it is rainy and cold alot of the year. I didn't realize it until I started printing larger ABS prints but cold drafts cause splitting and separation. So the latest project is printing parts for a case to maintain temp.
Great to have you on team Rostock. Look forward to seeing some of your prints and seeing those upgrades.
Happy Printing.

Can you travel to NE OHIO to have your meetings?

I agree we do need to have a Pacific Northwest get together. Maybe during the few months when the sun comes out.
