G'day all,
great to see a forum as i'm not a big fan of the YG format although, as others others have mentioned, it does have it's place.

My H1 kit arrived from the good ol US of A about a week ago & i have had a blast putting her together. As i like to improve most things i get in kit form, i assembled the H1 to get a feel for the overall layout & formulate my plan of attack for mods. I have decided on 8mm linear rods and bearings (could not adjust out the play in the plastic ones), heated bed, bearing belt idlers, adjustable belt tensioners, Azteeg electronics & a few other minor bits and pieces.

I must say, the H1 is a fantastic piece of kit for the price & a credit to the boy's at SeeMeCnc also a big thankyou for the manual which was posted 2 days before my kit arrived....now that's timing.
I did have some fun trying to find my imperial spanners and sockets that i used as a mechanic 25 years ago (Australia is Metric) gave up on a few & bought new ones... didn't think i would ever need that stuff again
Looking forward to exchanging ideas with you guys
Peter.

Peter.
