Description:

It's simply a fan shroud to mount three 40mm cooling fans on the bottom of the effector. It has some 7.6mm square holes for those square LEDs you can get at Radio Shack. It clears the nozzle by a few mm, but WARNING: IT MAY NOT CLEAR THE BINDER CLIPS ON THE GLASS (Use these clips to give clearance: http://repables.com/r/423). I have also not mounted fans to the part yet, but it's a standard measurement for the mounting so it should work.

I tried printing one (in PLA) last night and it looks usable. The bridging across the tops of the ducts is ambitious, particularly on the diagonals. It dropped quite a few threads on the first couple of bridging layers, but there are enough solid layers above to close it up. You might consider adding a thin wall down the middle of each duct to halve the bridge distance. I'm going to try making that modification and changing out the square LED holders for 10mm round ones.

Yea, I had no problem printing it (AMAZINGLY), but I can see how it could be a problem. I will for sure add some more ducting with the next version! Didn't even think of that, so I'm glad you said something :)

Also, you can add "Issues" to the issue tracker on the bitbucket site. I already added this one myself.

OH ALSO: If anyone makes changes, please make a pull request on git (bitbucket or whatever) if you have that ability so I can reintroduce them into the main project. If you can't do that, just add an issue with your enhancements and upload the CAD file or a measurement and description with some simple diagrams of what you did. Thanks!
