Im assembling my Rostock V2 right now. After putting the print head on and reading about the e3d i've decided i might want one (for the high temps and cool materials you can print). What things do you need to assemble (special mounts) or whatever. And finally is it to difficult to put on? Is it worth the time and hassle? Thanks!!!!

I have several hot ends I have tried out, Im very happy with the new E3d V6..So yea its worth it. But I would also ask what will be your primary printing material? The good old J head is gret for pla and hard to beat, but if your looking for printing a variety of materials...yep the E3d V6 kicks butt!

Yes it's good.

You need to mount it right or it will jam - and "right" is pretty much just making sure all the fins are covered by the fan shroud.

I find that the nozzles tend to smoosh the plastic around a bit compared to the SeeMeCNC original hot ends, but it's nothing major.

No big deal with assembly apart from needing a mount for it. So assemble with the supplied SeeMeCNC hot end to start with - don't bother with connectors yet. Print your mounting bracket for the E3D and then switch back. One of the nice things about the E3D is cables all route up from the hot-end quite easily to a connector up near the top of the build space, well away from the heat.
