New From UK

Hi all, after trying to source a Delta in the UK and failing I finally just ordered direct from SeeMeCNC.
I ordered some spare nozzles also while I was at it so sourcing in the UK could be difficult?
Anyone know after it's journey over the pond is it handed over to Parcel Force / Royal Mail or another courier?
I'm a Chemist / Chemical Engineer / Engineer with a bit of Physics & IT. Little electronics / electrical experience other than some theory yet
I don't think I've ever used a soldering iron.. but how hard can it be
. Hence why I've gone for the Delta, yeah I think I could build a max
but it's my first printer so seems the sensible approach considering my limited practical background wiring stuff up.
Also the Delta is open source and once I get my head around it and some experience I'll be considering upgrades.
Always been interested in 3D printing on a technical level but never seen any real use for me personally (by that I mean economical viability) and I'm not really into the artistic side
of 3D printing. However I do have a number of "projects " I'd like to try and I'm interested in the technology so will just enjoy the process of creating my own parts..
My main hobby is Mountain Biking and a bit of Road work.. so yes my projects will revolve around this initially..
