Hello, out there

I've been a Max owner for about a year by now, and I figured it's about time I participate!

I work at a mold making/machine shop in Columbus, and can't seem to shake the urge to make things.

I am a novice in the CNC world, but I'm happy with my progress thus far. I am getting more experience at work, but it's not as much as I'd like.

Enter: Rostock Max. Cause of many headaches and smiles.

I have the original kit, r2 Onyx, rv1.1 Rambo, etc.. So I've been dealing with quite a few issues to get where I am, but I hold myself accountable for many of them. I've not yet completed my first spool of PLA, but now that I've got momentum again (she collected some dust, I must say) I'm determined to kill off this orange!

Anyway....

Hello, everyone! :)

Seems like a disproportionate number of makers are in Ohio or Indiana. It's good to see that manufacturing isn't dead in this country, it's just changing form.

I've had my Rostock for a little over a year too! And I know what you mean, it can be frustrating at times, but once you get it working right the Rostock can make some really nice parts.
