I remember when I build my Rostock, one of the few little things that I didn't like was using binder clips to hold the bed.
It seems to me that they didn't belong, giving a non-professional look. So yesterday I finally upgrade it

Materials:
x5 glass holder (?) don't know the word in english
x1 primer
x1 random spray paint color

I've used 2 pieces of leather to avoid the screw doing too much pressure to the boro glass.
The tiny leather over the screw was cutted using a paper puncher.

I love the idea of moving away from binder clips. Did a quick search and couldn't really find that exact model. Someone could create a STL to 3D print it with ABS and tap the set screw. Where did you get the glass holder clips?

Very nice solution! You should make up some STLs and create a printable version of this!
I've seen glass clamps like this on furniture before to hold glass shelves and doors.

I hate to admit it, but I actually like my binder clips. I take my glass plate off between prints and wash it off in the sink, so quick and simple is how I plan to keep my machine.

Yeah me too actually, I take my plate off a lot!

Just add a knurled nut and it will be ready to go and easy to take off!

Yeah, I'll add too. The clips look like shit, but they are quick to remove... hard to contend with.
