Dual EZStruder Mount for Max V2 - STL + Pics

If anyone's interested in a mount for dual EZstruder's, I've just uploaded the STL.
I screwed up though... the nylon nut on the right side ended up stripping the plastic, because the screw wasn't going into the nut smoothly, for some reason. The right side lock nut just spins freely now, so I can't secure it on the right. It's pretty much being held up by just the left side, but it's still actually very solid and secure. Still, I think I'll print another in a few weeks to re-do it, I know it's going keep gnawing at me! It's already so irksome to look at.

Okay, I've designed a solution to my problem, I'll need to reprint, but hopefully this will prevent the locknut from stripping the plastic.
Untested, but I'll post the STL once I've printed / tested. Also, just an FYI, it took me about 6 1/2 hours to print the first one... that was 0.250mm layer height, 40mm/s print speed.

Thanks, I'm grateful that the lasercut sheets were posted on github for me to model from, it made things so much easier! I have a few more parts I'm working on for the V2 that I'll share.

That looks pretty nice. At some point, I'd like to upgrade to dual (probably sooner than later). Any chance you can make a mirrored version? One with the EZStruder standoffs on the opposite side... Might be useful to quite a few folks. Some of us (guilty) put the top panel on backwards and have no desire to rip the assembly apart to fix it.

Just added the V2 to Thingiverse! It worked out perfectly, made it much stronger! I'm happy with this revision, it's now rock solid.
@halotosis, you could actually mirror this in your slicer... in Cura for example, just mirror in Z, works out nicely.

wow, cool thing. Is it possible to place two of them on top for total 4 extruders? (i know it mounts just like default one, but i don't know about default too)

Sure, you could do that. There are two positions for the mount, so you could mirror it in Cura (Z-axis), then mount it on the other side.

isn't it too long? Why not shorter?
