My name is Mike and I am in West Lafayette, IN. I am still in the process of completing the build, but it is going well so far! This is my first printer and I am excited to have found the Rostock kit and to support a Hoosier company. I am currently a Design Technology major at Ivy Tech and was formerly an avionics technician on F-15's. I am guessing the author of the build instructions (Gene) was involved with F-15's at Bitburg?

Sidetracked a bit there, but I am really excited to join the group and hope to learn a bunch and contribute as well.

Mike

I actually wasn't in the service at all. I found the F-15C cockpit section sitting outside a local museum and I bought it from the owner (not the museum) for $1500 in 2001.

I'm happy to hear your build is going well!

If you've still got contacts in the group you worked in, I'd really appreciate it if you could get a couple of photos taken for me. I need a pic of the JTIDS terminal that's installed in the left side-console, outboard row and the CMD panel that's in the right side console, outboard row. I need good photos in order to create replicas of those two panels. They're the only two I'm missing for my "MSIP-II" version of the jet that I'm working towards finishing.

Thanks!

Thanks Jimustanguitar!

Gene, I do have someone in mind that *might* be able to help with that. I'll forward your request on and see what I can come up with!

Mike
