Hi All,
I just wanted to introduce myself and join the SeemeCNC community forums. My name is Rodney (AKA Cobaltrod), I’m a 47 year old male, married, retired software test engineer. I live in Austin Texas. My retirement was not by choice. I have Kidney failure and require life support, dialysis, every other day now to stay alive. The average life expectancy is 3-5 years, but I'm hoping for 10. It’s pretty disabling, and there is not much physically I can do anymore, so I’ve chosen 3D printing as my new and likely last hobby… Something completely new to keep my mind challenged and my hands busy. I chose the Rostock Max after finding a used, never assembled Rostock Max V1(with some V2 upgrades) on craigslist. I researched it and chose buy it. I got it a month ago and have really enjoyed building it. I followed the latest version of the assembly guide (Version 1.45), and used the forum, of course, to get me to this far, to calibration. But I’m stuck now and thinks it’s time to throw out some build and calibration questions. I’ll start a RodneysBuild thread for my questions. Please help answer them if you can. Thanks ~ Rodney
