EZSTRUDER mounting plate?

Hello I just bought an EZSTRUDER but there was no mounting plate with it so I can't use it.

Is there an stl file I can download to print one? I have the original Side spool holder I'd like to be able to just connect the EZstruder to that.

many thanks!

I got a 2 sets of the melamine, as there was something goofed in the first. I can check tonight, I might have the extra set of the melamine. I don't think I used those.

There are a few mounts on Thingiverse you can check to see if they would work.

Thanks all but it's no where there that I can find. I can't open dxf files also.
Thingiverse doesn't have anything that looks like the parts in the manual
Parts 70778 and 70779

I emailed Seemecnc maybe they have it
thank you!

Are you looking to print one? or laser cut. the .dxf files are intended to laser cut.

Yes print the pieces as I'm still using the Steves Extruder haven't installed the EZStruder yet

The printed mounts aren't meant to mimic the original mount plate, they are meant to provide a different mount solution. You can use something else, printing the laser cut mount out wouldn't be ideal.

I'd recommend printing this one and mounting the ezstruder under the top plate. I'm putting 3 up there with this mount for the Kraken 4 nozzle hot end.

It's a nice clean, out of the way mount. The spool goes on top. Nice and compact.

mhackney,

are you going to use all for nozzles? how would you put together the 4th?

Yes, I'm documenting it in the build forum under Kraken.

I am using the original sidearm mount for 1 extruder and then 3 mounted to the top plate with the mount I linked to. Should be quite the feat!

What is your plan for controlling all 4 hotends and extruders?

It's all in the thread. I'm using the new Azteeg X3 Pro board that support 5 extruders and hot ends. Quite the beast!

Due to what was probably improper use of our machine, I recently had to make a new bracket like what you are looking for. In my case, I needed 70779.

I managed to find STL files for 70779 and 70778 for the EZ struder here:
https://github.com/seemecnc/EZStruder/t ... 20adapters

Just thought I'd post these, in case someone finds this thread while looking for these files in the future like I did.
