Hi Everyone. Check out my $20 enclosure. Took 45 minutes and the warping seems to be gone.

You cannot post something so seemingly perfect without a link to the product......
Where did you get it?

It looks like a couple generic plastic storage bins with one end trimmed off and mated top to top. I see a couple knobs added with rubber bands on this side...the other side is either the same or has some kind of hinge. Tape would work. I applaud the ingenuity and reuse of common products.

Yes, 2 storage bins on their side and 3 hinges. Really works well and doesn't look too bad!

That ingenious! Way nicer than my Hefty(tm) bag heated enclosure.
(runs off to lowe's to see if he can find bins big enough for the Max)

*looks at closet*....*looks back to printer*....It seems so wrong to cut up something so useful

... I don't know if I can do it. *Stairs at the piles of bins in the closet*

That one has a scratch on the lid, guess I better replace it.

I like the concept but I also liked the idea of using the clear 55 gallon drum liner that a user posted.

The filament roll is on the desk behind enclosure on a stand. A small hole is drilled to allow the filament to enter at a descent angle.

Any chance you could give the details as to how you did this? Like what hinges were used, which brand and model of containers were used, what you used to cut them, etc....?

Can you give us a hint of where you got the containers, the brand and the size?

I got them at Home Depot. Here is a photo of the label. I cut them with a good set of sheet metal shears. btw the .030 PEI material I used on the heated bed cuts well with red or green sheet metal snips. The hinges were also from Homo Depot.

Thanks for the pictures and the sourcing of the materials, the containers look like Canadian, I hope the states have something similar.
