Thank you. I ended up installing the E3D all metal Hot End. I cranked it up to 350 degrees Celsius with no mishaps. The new fan and stainless finned out mid section stay cold to the touch when the hot end is at 350 Degrees Celsius. It's supposed to handle way over 400 C.foshon wrote:elqisqeyano wrote:Is there anything special I should know when using an Budaschnozzle on the Rostock Max?
Did you get the one that is on ebay? If so they are having issues with jamming. Partly due to the melt zone hole being different from Lulzbot's original design, and partly due to Lulzbot's original design. Put a fan on it pointing right at that copper bowl.
With the .4 mm nozzle it prints like a charm.elqisqeyano wrote:Thank you. I ended up installing the E3D all metal Hot End. I cranked it up to 350 degrees Celsius with no mishaps. The one on Ebay is set for 3mm, you have to insert PTFE tubing for 1.75 mm filament and it works well without the fan. Is just limited on the heat as well, only capable of Max 250 C.foshon wrote:elqisqeyano wrote:Is there anything special I should know when using an Budaschnozzle on the Rostock Max?
