Print Settings for T-slots

I have a part (see attached) design that incorporates a small t-slot. I'm printing in ABS material with a .4mm nozzle on a RostockMax v2 with a 280 head. Reorienting the part before slicing to avoid forming filler support in the t-slot area is impractical. Any suggestions on how to print this part with the easiest post-printing cleanup? Specifically, what filler settings should i use that will allow the t-slot to print while minimizing the difficulty in extracting the filler material from the slot afterwards?
I'm using MatterControl for slicing. I downloaded and installed Cura 3.2 but it won't recognize my printer. (Any suggestions on that separate issue would be appreciated!)
Thanks for any thoughts on this.
