Hi , I have searched this topic and only found old posts on this. When I try to use slic3r in matter control, the slicer offsets the print by 100,100 in the x y plane so the print is off the edge of the bed. Can anyone help me to center the print ? I need slic3r because I need to get rid of the seam because there is no randomize start point in matterslice or cura

As far as I know, that's a bug in how MC runs the Slic3r engine. If you have to use Slic3r, you might be better served by just downloading Slic3r itself and use that.

Thanks, I will try that, I am just not sure how to set up slic3r for a delta printer. I will just dive in and try.

Thanks for your help

Thankyou Geneb

I downloaded slic3r according to seemecnc guide at https://seemecnc.dozuki.com/Guide/Setting+Up+Slic3r/71.
I followed the procedure but was stumped by the controller not being active. Its a tiny setting that you have to check under preferences then restart slic3r. I did manage to export the gcode and load it directly into matter control. Now I can print either way, and more importantly , with randomize start point, I no longer get an ugly weak seam on everything i print. This is a HUGE improvement and well worth the bother. Also I can print in spiral vase mode again.
Very happy with the result

If you're a Slic3r fan, you should get the Prusa Edition. It's got machine control in it and is also more frequently updated than the mainline Slic3r code.
