Could somebody with more experience in 3d printing write few words about setup something another than Slic3r. I read from your posts that is not the best solution for slicing. For example with perimeters from inside to outside (Polygonhell extruder calibration topic) and very strange slicing. Should i give up on Slic3r? What is the best solution? And what about Repetier host, shoul i still use it?

Rostock is my first 3d printer, so i don't know exactly what I'm doing. :)

I switched to Kisslicer from slic3r. But I'm still using repetier host. When I get home I'll post up some screenshots of the settings I'm using (they do not produced great quality prints, but it's at least a start for me.)

In Repetier Host I click on the gcode tab and load the gcode file made by kisslicer.

Like most people have said, I've noticed that it takes very little time to slice. Learning all of the new terms is the biggest challenge.

Perimeters for example. Should I want to print minimum number of them. Or more is better. I'm looking for noobs tutorial for 3d printing. Bridging moves I assume should be fast, its that correct?

These are the settings I'm using for Kisslicer. I need to tweak them a bit, but they are a starting point if you're looking to switch from slic3r.

Settings like perimeters depends on what you're trying to print. That you may need to get a feel for your self.

*Edit: I updated the style screen, these settings work much better.
