MatterControl Estimated Time

Has anyone else noticed that the estimated time in MatterControl is WAY off. I printed the T-Rex shower head the other day and MC estimated it around 20hrs. The print completed in about 13hrs. Any ideas?

My time estimates are always 22% high

No slicers do a particularly good job of time estimates.
Even if the Slicer has a setting for acceleration so it can take that into account, none include Jerk so they have no idea what the actual speeds at corners are. And since different firmwares have differing implementations of Jerk (or the equivalent settings) even that wouldn't be enough.
At best they are running an idealized model of the process. Most probably do the calculation and make a conservative guess, i.e. even if they do take acceleration into account they likely pick some low junction speed, so they'll be prone to over estimating run times.

I was in contact with the SeeMeCNC crew and they told me to check out gcode.ws
I checked a gcode file that according to MatterControl was suppose to take 20hrs, actual was 13hrs. gcode.ws estimated it at 12hrs 54min. MUCH closer
