I'm skimming this thread, so forgive me if I'm repeating suggestions.

Have you tried plugging the motors that have yet to move into a known working motor port? You mention that you plugged your extruder into Y, but Y is the one that may not work so test it with a different output. Always plug and unplug motors with the power off. You will cause damage if you're making and breaking connections on a hot stepper channel.

Also, you can do a quick and dirty troubleshoot on a stepper motor by unplugging it and seeing if shorting the leads with a paperclip makes it harder to twist the motor shaft by hand. (motors are generators too, and shorting the leads puts a load on them that you can feel).

I didn't have to call, woke up to a couple of e-mails, one from UPS with the label and one from support.

"Not sure what happened with that RMA. The shipping department confirmed with me that it was sent.... I have them generating another one right now, so you should be receiving it soon... Please let me know when you get it."

So it would seem the first time it didn't send right or something. (it never showed in my spam folder either.)

Keep us informed when you get the new board wired in, this is an interesting discussion!

"Upon testing the board we found that the fan leads for the RAMBO fan were contacting on the back side of the board causing the RAMBO Stepper Motor Drivers to not correctly work and eventually blow the F2 fuse. We have mounted the board to a backer, soldered in a new fan and will be shipping the board back to you ASAP for installation back into your machine."

I got the board Friday and got it installed, only to find that the Y towers end stop was now showing an H! ( why is it always the Y tower!?!?)
I figured maybe I created a short by the plug so I cut the wire back and put new pins on, nope wasn't that. I then plugged in one of the other plugs and the board is fine... so I plugged in the switch to a different line and it too was fine. I was getting ready to run new wires when I just replaced the butt connectors I used to extend the wires.....AND IT WORKED!

Now it was time to calibrate. I got it calibrated and went to print. the extruder came down about half way went towards the Y tower (the Y tower AGAIN!) and started printing there... *face palms* I tried to print again and the x tower went full speed down without the others! I tried to re-calibrate it, but the Z height kept changing on me!

So I gave up and re-uploaded the firmware and went through the calibration again, and that time it worked.

kapton tape is proving to be a little on the difficult side to lay without folds and air bubbles :/
