Hello from down the street!

Post by Span24 »

Michael from Goshen, Indiana here!

FWIW: I'm interested in computers, firearms (primarily com-blok guns), model rocketry, and anything remotely controlled!! I enjoy teaching practical shooting techniques and building (and flying) things....

I just recently got involved in 3-D printing though my newly graduated son has been trying to get me interested for a few years now. JJ (Johnson) was my sons favorite teacher (CAD) in High School. After a good friend dragged me to MRRF 2016 this year I am now HOOKED! Thanks Matthew! In addition to an interest in 3-D printing I also gained considerable respect for the crew over at SeeMeCNC who truly love their products and care about their customers! Thanks Oly!

We purchased a Rostock MAX V2 for the boy and an Orion for myself! We have about 4 hours in the Rostock and just completed the base. THIS THING ROCKS!!! The on-line instructions are AMAZING and I particularly appreciate the Checkpoint Videos! Often, with instructions you miss little things that just seemed to jump out in the videos! THANKS GeneB, you have my vote for President!

Looking forward to a sharp learning curve and lots and LOTS of guidance from the 'experts' here in the forums.

Michael (Span24)

Thanks! See you in the forums!!

Michael, welcome to our Forum!
You have the greatest printer Company on earth in your town of Goshen, Indiana but
you already know this since you know JJ and you bought a Rostock Max V2 and an Orion.
The whole gang at SeeMeCNC rocks and I mean the whole gang! Steve and John lead the
best gang of people it has been my pleasure to meet because they are true leaders.
You can expect the very best from the members of this forum and we would appreciate your
collaboration on all the different sub-forums and if you need a question answered just send us
a message in the appropriate sub-forum.
Happy Building and Happy Printing and a few pictures of your printers would be great!

Gah! I've got enough hobbies that I don't have time for as it is. Running the country would really throw a wrench in what little spare time I have left. :D

I'm glad you're having a good time building the printer!
