Printing multiple pieces

Post by cloneme »

I am having trouble finding a solution to printing multiple parts in one run without having the hot end moving to each part layer by layer...I would like to layout six pieces on the bed and have each one printed fully before moving to the next item. Is this possible in MatterControl?

Not sure how feasible that would be, but I guess that depends on the vertical size of each print. In my case, anything over 10mm and the effector would knock into the part.

I think this is possible using the Slic3r slice engine with MatterControl with the Sequential Printing setting under the Output Options.

Thanks for your help. Looks like I may need to update my MatterControl to the newest version since I only have the "Center on Bed" option under the print output options.
