Rostock Max V2 Build soon
Rostock Max V2 Build soon
I've had a Rigidbot and have had to replace components more frequently than wanted and was looking for a new machine and the support that SeeMeCNC had was appealing! I start my build tomorrow and have been reading through the manual. I've heard there are some other good tips. I probably won't mod it a ton at first, but open to any "MUST MOD" mods people think are worth the trouble.

Ha, Great Kevin! I also need to come pick up some Buildtak. It would be really cool to put together a tool set with all tools needed to build this. I have quite a bit of errands before I start the build tomorrow.

As Kevinvandeusen has indicated, I also think that the stepper motor dampers should be purchased first because they are a super pain to
install after a build is completed. Send him and Astroboy907 a Private Message to check if they are in stock and what the cost will be.
Put them in during the build and enjoy the significant reduction in noise level.
There are many upgrades available but it is always my advice to build the printer and get it aligned and print with it awhile. After doing this
you will be in much better shape to decide what upgrades you feel you need instead of people telling you what you should get.
Happy building and printing!
