new from Spain

Post by Oscar »

Hi guys

My name is Oscar and i am writing from Spain. A few weeks ago i finished the assembly of my Rostock Max 3D V1.

Now i am in the phase of calibrating and printing the test cube. Recently i have changed cristal dish over the heated bed, and i have to re-calibrating the axes, and i have a little deviation in the centre. To correct it, i have to modify the rambo board firmware, but i am unable to upload new firmware to the rambo board.

I have followed many tutorials, i have select correct com port, kind of board in the tools menu, but alwais have timeout error.

Maybe someone can explain to me step by step, from the installation phase of the arduino program to phase load firmware?

Thanks

Usually your problem is caused by a baud rate mismatch between the computer and the Rambo card in the printer.
Change your baud rate in Repetier host so that it matches the baud rate of the rambo.
If you are running Windows, open control panel, system, Device manager and look for the Rambo usb device. The Rambo USB device should should show you what the baud rate is.
