So many things to print!

Post by Dust2Dust02 »

Hello everyone,

I have wanted an avenue to build all the ideas I have had in my head forever. Once I heard about CNC I thought I had it. Then I learned how much cost was involved not just with the tools but with having an area for it and the raw materials so I lost interest. Then 3d printing came along. It took me a long time to chose which one would be right for me and be within my price range. Thanks to the good guys at SeeMeCNC I know have a way to make all of my ideas a reality. I am looking forward to completing my RostockMAX and get to printing!

Welcome to the forums!

Sounds like the Max is a good fit for you. I was on the bench for a long time also, then I found the RS Max and just had to have one. Have you started your build log yet?

I have not. I ran into more than a few issues so far. Little things that are no fault of the kit per say. Just had to investigate before making a decision. I got sick of looking at it (It has been nearly complete for 6+ months) and just went crazy on it this last weekend. I totally messed up the delta arms (no patience and over sanded them) and am getting the trick laser arms instead. The hot end is not completed since I need PTFE tubing (this should come with the kit IMHO). I should have it by tomorrow.
