Error while compiling and uploading to rambo

Post by jmick »

I would check to make sure you have the correct board selected (Mega 2560). I had a similar error and had forgotten to ensure that the correct board was selected.

You're trying to load RepetierMAX to your Rostock MAX?

You downloaded RepetierMAX from github and extracted the files from the .ZIP archive, right?

In the Arduino app, open the repetier "sketch". Select File -> Open, then navigate to the RepetierMAX/Repetier directory and open Repetier.ino.

Then select the right board (Mega2560) and port (varies), and click Upload.

Apologies if this is not the issue you're seeing.

yes that's what I did but I think I only have to run that if I have an axis running in the wrong direction, which I don't.
This was all run together and not made clear in the directions so I think it messed up my Repeteir Host as now my axis
which were running great are all messed up in the Repeteir software. Also with a M119 I cant get an axis readout which
I had before so I guess I'll have to dump all the software and start over. Thanks for the response anyway

I installed a new switch from Frys and power is working fine now. The fan is working every time I throw the switch. All axis are going in the right direction. One issue with Repeteir Host at first I was getting the response in the log window when sending an m119 all axis responded L . Machine went home. I played with it while and all was okay. Then I ran the hot end test and had to shut it down after about an hour as it keep running the test without the temperature and would not report the log. Now when I run an m119 the only thing the log is reporting is the temperature of the hot end which is normal, but I can't shut it off or don't know how. I tried toggling the log but to no avail. I even dumped Repeteir Host and Arguino IDE and reinstalled them, but it came up with the same configuration I had before and the temperatures are still reporting not the log window and I can't get rid of them. A G28 is still working tho but comes to rest with all 3 end stops depressed half way. Still will not report the axis L readout in the log, but wll run the g28. Somehow the hot end test is still running 10 hours later but only ran the temperature test once and also ran back down and stayed there running the normal cold temp.
