I'm new to 3D printing but I've been following it for a long time and finally decided to pull the trigger on a RostockMAX V2. I've printed off a few good prints and love the machine. My question is this, I prefer to run from the SD card on the LCD as it frees up my laptop, but I can't find a way to run the extruder to give it a good prime before prints, am I missing something?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Scott

Re: Priming the extruder
Turn on the nozzle heat and turn the extruder manually before the motors are enabled.
Also, print a skirt, it will prime the little bit that is needed after that.

Re: Priming the extruder
Great idea, it worked great. I do print skirts, but sometimes they don't seem to want to adhere unless I prime the extruder first, then it just drags the skirt around the bed.
