Print head fan won't turn on during print (gcode issue?)

Hi folks, When I adjust the print head fan speed using the console it works fine. But when I start printing something, the fans turn off. I've attached the gcode. It has a line "M106 S255". When I use the mattercontrol terminal this command starts the fans, but it doesn't seem to when I print. Any ...

Hi Geneb, I confirmed Z was set correctly. G29 fails because the stepper motors won't move up into the home position.

I recently built a Rostock V3 and, after a brief bed level issue, had printed successfully for a couple days. Then during a print, the Z axis began only moving down and crashed the head into the bed. Thanks geneb! Two quarters filled the gap nicely. I'll try printing spacers once it's calibrated.

Doh, thanks geneb! Unfortunately there's still a gap, I can fit a quarter between the glass and the clamp easily:

Loose heated bed

Hi everyone! I'm building a Rostock V3 and am confused about the heated bed. The instructions say the glass should be held by the clamps, but I have a gap:
