Re: Hotend won't stay above 240 and goes to DEF
I think it's unlikely to be a wiring issue, if I set it at 240 it will maintain it at 239-241. If I set it even a degree higher to 241 it heats up fine to it but almost acts as if the max voltage has been reduced and over the course of about 2 mins will drop down low enough to go into protect and ...

Re: Hotend won't stay above 240 and goes to DEF
I do have it installed. It's very odd and seems software related somehow. If I set it to even 241 instead of 240 it ill simply start dropping until too low to print.
I did the autopid calibration using the following line: M303 P0 S250 X0

Hotend won't stay above 240 and goes to DEF
I've starting printing in PETG and wanted to give it a shot at 245. The hotend heats up quickly as usual and will hold there, but once it starts to print it will start to drop off until it goes to DEF on the display. However if I set the temp at 240 it will sit around 239-241 no problem. I've tried ...

Re: Done buying Hatchbox
It was always so hit or miss for me with their stuff. I ended up trying the filament from pushplastic and am beyond happy with the quality and consistency. So pretty much have them as my go to filament now.

Re: Dual extrusion not using priming tower at end of print
I'm not sure what the issue is with simplify3d it just always tells me my printer doesn't support dual extrusion regardless how I set it up. I'll eventually try a clean install. I'm not using the wipe shield it's at the default 0 value. I'll try 20mm next time on the tower I started high and have ...

Re: Dual extrusion not using priming tower at end of print
I'm using mattercontrol still since it seems to give the most consistent results, plus simplify3d refuses to accept and allow me to slice dual extrusion designs, anyway... I haven't changed much other than saying 2 extruders using shared temperature. Then I have wipe shield distance at 0mm and wipe ...

Re: Octopi Changing to my second extruder on a single color print
Ah ok thanks, I'll simply disable dual extrusion then enable it when doing that type of print. That makes sense then since it didn't happen until I told octopi there was 2 extruders.

Octopi Changing to my second extruder on a single color print
Have had this happen twice now and not sure what is causing it. I loaded a print I've done before and it is definitely cut as a single color. After about 2 hours in it just randomly changed to my second extruder and began using it instead.
Anyone know why this is and how to fix it?

Dual extrusion not using priming tower at end of print
So I finally got things working with dual extrusion. Everything seems perfect aside from one small issue. When it gets to the last color change it will change filaments but not go to the priming tower. It will just change then continue printing. So It ends up with the last layer having the wrong ...

Is there a way to access this of the firmware on it already, or do I simply take it from the firmware file I used to flash to it?

Re: Heater decoupled when trying to use Dual Extrusion
Is there a chance your firmware is configured for traditional fully-independent dual extrusion with two heaters and two thermistors? Not sure honestly. Other than choosing "Share Temperature" which I did and it leaves you with one HE visible, I haven't seen anything else that would lead to that ...

Heater decoupled when trying to use Dual Extrusion
Everything seems to work fine with a single filament print. When choosing to print something with both extruders it will heat the HE then rehome and say Heater Decoupled. Really have no idea where to go from here. The only thing I find for this issue is people with bad fuses and such. Which is not ...

Re: Stringing not getting any better
I don't have wipe enabled actually. Was thinking it was for something else all together. That's probably where the issue is. I will look into it.
Thanks!

Stringing not getting any better
Since my previous issue of adhesion and an uneven first layer was so simple and I was overlooking it, this may be similar. Essentially what I'm trying to find out is what else besides retraction length and speed can I adjust to get rid of stringing? It's quite terrible still and that's what I kee ...

Re: Adhesion and general bed problems-Max V3
I gave that a shot, first print seemed to stick right away now on a cold bed and looks pretty level... going to try a couple more to see how it looks. Think that may have been the issue tho.

Adhesion and general bed problems-Max V3
Overall this printer has been pretty great. I seem to be having issues with what seems like a warped bed. One side will print so close it blocks the nozzle and causes the extruder to click. The other side will print fine at this level. If I increase the z then the low side is fine and the high side ...
