Thanks, I'll probably go for the v6; I print almost exclusively in ABS right now (well, until the resistors busted) and want to try out some higher-temp plastics.

Do you think it would be worth it to upgrade the hot end entirely? I've had my printer for a while and am looking to upgrade at least one part. Any suggestions as to which hot end would be a good pick? I've been eyeing an E3D v6.

I've been having a problem with the hot end on my V2 (stock parts, Mattercontrol software). The temperature rises more slowly than usual, and when I heat it up to ABS printing temperature (228), it can't make it over 200. When I tried a PID autotune, I got a timeout error.
