Re: Trouble printing calibration object (others print fine)
Just to clarify, to provide the "Gcode" I should copy and paste from the "Gcode Terminal"?

Re: Trouble printing calibration object (others print fine)
I don't have the details that I promised earlier (I'll play around after work) but I'm using MatterControl with the default slicer (which is labeled as "mattercontrol"). The printer is homing as far as I can tell (it drops to the print bed then goes to work but I can't recall how low it homes on the ...

Re: Trouble printing calibration object (others print fine)
Thank you for the swift replies. I'll set up a new spool tomorrow (first time ever) and then see what I can do about providing more information.

Re: Trouble printing calibration object (others print fine)
I attempted an almost identical calibration model a couple of days ago and had the result described above. I then printed http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1134277 without problem. Today I figured there might be a bug in the other model so I attempted http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:761799/#files ...

Trouble printing calibration object (others print fine)
Hi there, I'm new and just playing around right now. I've calibrated my printer per the instructions provided (using the scribe to confirm even height at towers and center). The script seems to work perfectly (looks straight to me)! When I attempt to print http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:761799 ...

Re: Newbie in SF! (first print pics inside)
Did you happen to notice the gaps on the right side of the single layer disk I printed (you can see red through them)? I printed two and both had that problem, any clue what's causing it? Also, when a print begins it draws a line somewhere just out side of the printable area (I'm assuming that this ...

Re: Newbie in SF! (first print pics inside)
Thanks for the greeting and feedback!
I'm currently using the remainder of the spool that was provided w/the printer. I'll be grabbing another spool or two soon. Is Hatchbox to be avoided?

Newbie in SF! (first print pics inside)
I just purchased a Rostock Max V2 used and preassembled (purchased as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend). I'm a total 3d-printing newbie (this is the first time I've laid my hands on one). I spent way too long calibrating it the night before last and decided to print a couple of simple objects last ...
