Re: Kraken thread
Hello everyone, I now have my kraken working with an azteeg x3 pro board and two power supplies. It is a major improvement on the rostock machine we had before hand. I was wondering however if anyone has heard of a direct drive modification? I would like to print one nozzle with Poly Urethane and ...

Re: Azteeg X3 Pro Firmware Issue
Another side note! I have just recently found out that the Viki2 LCD cables are pretty poorly specified for the electrically noisy job at hand. I found that jobs would randomly crash with the message 'SD read error'. I called E3D up since they are also based in the UK and they agreed that it was ...

Re: Repetier Randomly Crashing
I found the error. One of the cables on the Viki2 LCD only uses two out of the four wires coming out of it as it is designed to work with multiple boards and not just the Azteeg. The two I weren't using were lying under one of the motors and it must have caused interference every so often.

Repetier Randomly Crashing
Hey there, I am running repetier V0.92.4 on an Azteeg X3 Pro with a Viki2LCD on a homemade rostock printer. After one faulty board and a couple of days spent calibrating the machine, I have ran into a problem when repetier randomly crashes at different points in the print, and the whole machine ...

Re: Azteeg X3 Pro Firmware Issue
The number I got for Panucatt was +1 (714) 767-0778. Roy Cotes seems to be the man running the full operation.

Re: Azteeg X3 Pro Firmware Issue
I can confirm that the new board is working and going by other posts on other forums I don't think I have been the first person this has happened to. For all looking at this post, I think Panucatt Devices make great hardware that noone else is making right now, but their quality control is pretty ...

Re: Azteeg X3 Pro Firmware Issue
So an update on where I am on this. I have tried burning a bootloader to the board and found a post in which you can do it with a mega for anyone who is interested - http://www.instructables.com/id/Burn-Arduino-Bootloader-with-Arduino-MEGA/. Unfortunately after doing this and using a conventional ...

Azteeg X3 Pro Firmware Issue
Hey all, I recently received my azteeg x3 pro board along with a viki2LCD screen and have not been able to get a single piece of firmware on the damn thing and was wondering if anyone could help? Initially, I installed the FTDI drivers and directed my device manager to the correct folder. I then ...

Multi-material extrusion and different infill settings
Hey all, I have been experimenting with multi-material extrusion recently and current using a replicator 2x to do dual extrusions. Attached is a photo of my latest one of the rotor cuff joint in the shoulder and comprises of ABS and PU. I was wondering if there is anyway to differ the % infill for ...

Re: Kraken thread
Ah that's a pretty smart idea separating the power supplies like that! I think I will just ahead and copy you on that one.
Thanks for the advice!

Re: Kraken thread
Hey there, My work is currently in the process of upgrading a rostock 3D printer to fit a kraken with an azteeg x3 pro. However, our power supply unit was cobbled together from an old PC and is fine for single filament prints. As a result, we were wondering what sort of currents you guys were ...
