Yes, this part is in abs. I do have the manual recommended cooling fan as well. The bridging fan is set at 100%. I will absolutely check out your post. Thank you.

FYI – Gene was a great teacher, although at times he tried not to laugh at me and failed!!

I will be using a cable tie today! I will also just my retraction speed. I assume 12 mm was kind of extreme for retraction... Is that the normal range for ABS?

I've been playing with temps, speed multiplier, extrusion multiplier, and z height. I've also had two of the upper bearings bolts come loose and crash prints. On the other hand, I have successfully finished an eight hour print for that matter control mount. I put all five parts on the bed at once ...

I recently finished building my max with Geneb's help! That guy is a whiz!! He even avoided making fun of me when I cut the filament tube in half, cut the 22ga instead of 18ga, using O instead of 0 in gcode, and lastly-heating my hot end to 267c (FYI-setting max temp in gcode to 300 has no failsafe ...
