CNC cut replacement face for REPRAP GLCD
I upgraded from the Rambo to the Azteeg x5 and upgraded the LCD to match. For a while it was a jumble of wires and an LCD just dangling from the opening. I got tired of it looking like crap so I grabbed my new CNC, digital calipers, and a piece of curly maple. [img]http://i.imgur.com/MTL2BlU.jpg ...

Re: Azteeg X5 and RepRap Smart Controller
The smart controller isn't supported officially but it looks like people are "supposedly" using wolfmanjm's code running on a nano as a bridge interface the 2. I've seen alot of people using the viki, just not a lot using the parallel. I said screw it and bought a GLCD. I was just hoping to keep the ...

Re: Azteeg X5 and RepRap Smart Controller

Azteeg X5 and RepRap Smart Controller
I'm stumped. I can't seem to get these to work using the universal adapter. Has anyone had any success with using the original LCD? I've followed the directions to what I believe is a T but I never get any text. I saw wolfman say that these smart controllers were supported but I haven't found anyone ...

Re: Bed is calibrated, but hot-end is above the center.
Don't mess with hairspray or glue sticks. Just use the abs juice and save yourself the trouble. Its more effective at keeping ABS stuck to the bed and cleanup just takes a razor blade.

Re: Bed leveling issues
I'm trying to understand exactly what your doing but I'm having trouble. Here's how I did it. Set the end stop screws roughly where the pictures in the manual show. Home the towers or run G28 command. On the printer under advanced settings set the Z height. Home the towers then jog the effector down ...

Re: octoprint for Rostock V2
I could connect to the RaMbo board @ 250000 baud but something to do with the way the wait command was being received would lock up my rostock. It would just repeatedly send the wait command. The dial and LCD would stop functioning altogether. I would have to unplug the printer and wait a minute or ...

Re: octoprint for Rostock V2
So I just setup my V2 and octoprint. It was a pain in the ass. First I was having some serious communication problems with the current 0.91 firmware available from seemecnc. To make it work I had to manually update the firmware from repetier. I think it was 0.91 rev 8. I had to manually compare ...
