Didn't BarryBot use sphere 1.2" magnets and he ballend milled some bolts to receive them on the arms/end effectors. That is what I was going to do, then I see everyone doing the opposite. Steel balls and cylndrical magnets.

Re: Dremel End Effector?
We all have Dremels. We can print the end effector mount. Why not? I'd like to cut 1/8-1/4" plexi. It can be slow and take many passes. I don't have a need for a $600+ CNC.

Dremel End Effector?
Wondering if anyone has heard of using a Dremel, or a dremel off the end effector through a flex cord, mainly to cut 1/8 or 1/4" plexiglas? It could be run at a low mm per minute with a shallow cutting depth. There are a lot of uses for engraving or cutting out/drilling some plexiglas. Thanks Maxi

This was a very good write up on the process. Magnetic arms are the way to go. Nice work!

Re: LCD Smart Adapter
Hi Guys!
I'm in the reverse boat. I've been looking for that little "smart" adapter board for my RAMPS. If you bought the kit and aren't using the little PCB could I have it?
Thanks

Hi Gang! I've been really fascinated by the magnetic arms since I first saw the BarryBot. I've researched for a year and am building my first Delta. In fact I think most of my electronics and motors get delivered Monday!!! I have a request, if someone can help me out. At the moment I do not have ...
