First Print, Critiques and advice wanted!

I have finished my build and I have finally got round to printing my PEEK fan shroud.This is the second print I have ever done with the Rostock and was wondering what you guys thought of the print quality. If you have any tips, tricks and advice to how I can improve the print quality. As you can see the outside is very smooth but the inside isn't the best.

Well, I don't know my arse from my elbow yet, but if that were my first print, I would be _exceedingly_ proud of myself. No obvious voids, very little cobweb, tidy overhang with no obvious droop. Doesn't even look like you've cleaned it up yet so it should be even better when you have. Well done.

the file for this print that is provided as a part of the commissioning process is such an ego builder it was very well chosen by SeeMeCNC I was stunned at how well my first print of it came out and if they had directed me to start printing calibration shapes first I would not have had the positive reinforcement that these 2 fan shrouds provide at a critical point of learning how to use the printer that has just been assembled...

And yes thats a great first print enesoz

Thanks @TheIrishScion @Windshadow.. it is a bit of an ego builder from SeeMeCNC, we will see how the rest of the prints come out. In regards to the cobweb is it a matter of the filament choice or will it happen anyway and its a matter of cleaning up?

The cobweb is a combination of factors. Filament choice (some are more prone to it than others), Travel speed, and retraction are the big factors.

It depends on the hotend and the filament, so you'll have to experiment a bit. I never really bothered dialing in the stock hotend, as I had no real cobwebs on the parts I was running before I moved the the E3D, and I haven't had a need to tune it since the switch, as all the parts needed post-processing anyways (I print miniatures and brackets mostly, and the brackets need acetone fogging which cuts the threads right off for strength, and the miniatures need sanding/fogging/ETC before painting)
