Hi guys,
I haven't been using my Rostock max v2 upgraded with a new fancy hotend with the probe thingy for probably a few weeks now cause I was building an enclosure for it.
It's cold in my basement and I wanted to protect it a little better.
So you guessed it I had to move it around a little bit but I wasn't worried cause I have the accelerometer probe so it should be good, not!
So I run g28 and then g29 and all the hot-end does is smash into the plate when it gets to the first tower and then does it over and over again.
Now I read the thread and tried lowering the z-height and stuff but no dice so far and you can probably guess from my tone that I'm a little frustrated.
Why is the hot-end crashing into the plate? isn't it what the probe was supposed to avoid.
I was really excited to finally not have to spend 30 minutes before every big print on my knees with a piece of paper squinting my eyes and trying to be as gentle as possible with the machine but now I just want to .... whatever
Any tips guys before I put it on craigslist?

Re: Rostock Max V2 to V3 troubles
Make sure the cable connecting to the HE280 hasn't come partially loose. Also check your wiring for the HE280 to ensure that it's correct.
