I put this here because it could become a tip I guess haha.
My original thermister snapped in half while I was trying to solder it to the heated bed. So I got a replacement, but it comes with a cable pre-attached.

With those, is there any reason to disconnect them and solder them to the heated bed? Or can I just kapton tape it down, extend the cable, and go from there, without soldering it directly to the heated bed?
Thermistor Question
Re: Thermistor Question
I just bought some online.
Re: Thermistor Question
Kapton tape works. Most heat beds are taped.
