SE300 with Azteeg X3 Pro?

Post by PixelGl1tch »

Has anyone successfully connected the SE300 to the Azteeg X3 Pro? If so, what is the pin configuration? I can source 3.3v power from my raspberry pi sitting next to my printer, so that part is not an issue. I am unsure where to wire the Probe Trigger and Probe Serial wires to and any necessary post-configuration to the firmware. I have a Rostock Max running Repetier 1.0.3, any help would be much appreciated.

The main feature of the SE300 is the strain gauge that's built into the PCB. Unfortunately, there's no 8 bit firmware capable of handling the output (that I'm aware of). If you want to update your Rostock MAX, an SE300, assembled wiring whip, and a Duet WiFi will do the job nicely.
