numbers on the bed in MC

Post by wshiwsbrding »

When you view a print in matter control and you see it there spinning in 3d or 2d in a preview, what are the numbers next to each circle?

Centimeters radius?

And assuming that they are centimeters, can you switch to inches?

I don't know what the numbers mean off the top of my head, but you do NOT want inches anywhere near 3D printing. 100% of the 3D printing software & processes are metric and have been since the first RepRap printers appeared in 2007ish. :)

Some commercial machines are in inches and you can configure most RepRap software to be denominated as such, but any time you do something abnormal with software, even if it's technically supported, you run a higher risk of encountering undocumented bugs.
