[SOLVED] Vertical dimension calibration PROBLEM for Rostock max V2

 Hey, so I've been having a bit of an issue, I calibrated the basic "x,y" axis for dimensiobal accuracy, but my "z" axis is still not properly in dimension, the first couple of layers also lean towards one side of the printer. No idea why this is happening, any advice?
The red moai is from the Rostock

What's your steps per mm set to? That's the only thing that should affect vertical scaling.

I believe it's like 97.(something) I'm not home right now but I adjusted it using calculations for dimensiobal accuracy after printing a 50mm test print and repeating the process. I think it could be the arm length but I used the correct lengths from.the manual

And is your part something like 20% too tall? The steps per MM should be 80, or very close. Any other value is either a result of mechanical modifications, or serious mechanical issues. Are you sure that you aren't using the arm length for a different set of arms (a bit confusingly, there's a few options there, such as the Ball-joint and U-joint arms, as well as after market arms, plus it is possible, though unlikely, that you have a set of Orion arms on it somehow.) The arm length is more likely to need adjustment than the steps per MM.

I will try to change steps/mm, I have a second Rostock Max V2 so I copied over the arm length, but the problem still exists, the steps/mm should be proportional in (X/Y,Z) regardless.

The steps per/mm should be 80, period.

I did that and it didn't change anything. I ended up resetting the firmware and starting from scratch with the most recent version. That removed the problem entirely. I noticed that the default Rostock Max v2 setting has the "Ball Joints" dimensions so I had to change that, some other delta offsets had to be changed as well (if anyone needs this information, let me know) and it works fine now. Very weird problem it didn't have this issue when I first built this printer. Thank you for all your help Geneb!
