Hello,

I connect a 60 mm led (https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B00BG7 ... UTF8&psc=1) ring to +/- 12v free hole on the HE280 board:

On this image +12 is marked as always ON, but my led stay OFF at my Rostock Max v3 power on.

Is there some Gcode to pun ON / OFF this pins?

Thank you,
Marcello

You can check the 12v pad with a meter to make sure it's on. There's no gcode to activate it - it's hard-wired to the 12V line going to the hot end. It MAY only be active while the hot end is heating - I'm not sure.

I found this post. Sounds like what you want to achieve but doesn't use the he280 board.

Thank you Geneb! I soldered last night and I didn't test it. Only powered on printer but not launched a print test so I don't know if heating hot end, led ring lights.

On the image it says that 12v pin is always on so I expected that it works at power on of printer. Later I try the hot end heating option.

Last night I tested the option to heat hot end, but nothing!

LED ring stay off. I don't know, I'll re-ceck pin soldering but I thing there's sonthing else to set (jumper on Rambo? Firmware property to set?)

Someone else made this mod on Rostock Max v3?

On my V2, I have my light ring connected to in parallel with my heat break fan. The other thing to consider with the RamBo boards, the negative 12V connection is switched to control the fans, hotend, etc.
